Promoting student success, inclusion and civic engagement

Goals

To contribute to an inclusive, supportive and civic-minded school by promoting the well-being, autonomy and engagement of students.

The volunteers will contribute in particular to strengthening community life, equal opportunities, the inclusion of students with special educational needs, student participation in school life and raising their awareness of issues of citizenship, sustainable development and media literacy.

The international dimension of EFIT will also allow volunteers to participate in projects promoting cultural openness, exchanges and the discovery of a multilingual and multicultural school environment.

Actions

Working with the CPE (Chief Education Advisor), the teaching assistant, and the entire educational team, the two volunteers will participate in the daily life of the school and will be able to, in particular:

· contribute to the animation of break times and collective life, promoting the safety, well-being of students and the understanding of common rules; ;

· participate in the organization of key events and projects around health, citizenship and living together; ;

· participate in education activities for sustainable development and information and media literacy; ;

· to support student representatives in carrying out their duties and to encourage their initiatives; ;

• contribute to the support of students with special educational needs, in and out of the classroom, in conjunction with the teaching teams; ;

· participate in tutoring, methodological support and homework help; ;

· contribute to the organization and running of extracurricular activities; ;

· participate in the institution's projects, events and highlights; ;

· Accompany students during school trips and projects; ;

· participate, alongside and under the responsibility of the establishment's staff, in the supervision of students during certain times of school life.

The reception facility

The French International School of Tirana (EFIT) is an international school welcoming students from kindergarten to high school. It delivers the French national education curriculum and welcomes students of many nationalities.

As a member of the French education network abroad, EFIT places multilingualism, international openness, inclusion, student well-being, and citizenship education at the heart of its educational project. Its multicultural environment allows students to grow and learn within a framework open to Europe and the world.
