Description of the reception facility :

The French section, called Simone Veil High School, Founded in 2017, this school welcomes students from preschool through high school and prepares them for the French national exams (DNB and Baccalaureate) within the Amadou Sylla School Group. This school group, established in 1999, is a bicultural institution, open to both Guinean and French cultures. The Guinean section follows the national curriculum, enriched with Spanish and computer science courses in secondary school. 

 

Goals : 

This role will allow you to develop your civic engagement by welcoming students in a safe and friendly environment. You will support classroom activities and participate in events based on your interests and skills. 

 

Description of missions :   

Some examples of actions:  

  • Possibility of offering artistic and sports workshops during recess. 
  • Accompanying the activity of a small group or helping a schoolchild in an activity, with a teacher. 
  • Participate in the management of the library, documentation center (BCD), assist teachers, in particular to welcome students for loan management. 
  • Participate in the morning and afternoon reception. 
  • To support physical education activities and educational outings and occasionally participate in the organization and running of festive events at the school. 
  • Contribute to communication with families. 
  • Implementing a school policy within the framework of sustainable development. 

These are only possible courses of action, as the volunteer's profile will determine the suitability of the missions.
