Presentation of the host structure:

Fondacio was founded in Poitiers in 1974 by a group of young adults united by a shared faith in humanity and a desire to contribute to making the world a more humane place. Fondacio grew rapidly in France and then, starting in the 1980s, expanded globally: first in Chile, then in Asia and Africa. Today, Fondacio operates on four continents, in 20 countries, with 35 development projects (homes for street children, clinics, vocational training programs, schools, microcredit initiatives, etc.).

Goals :

To train and support the social and professional inclusion of low-income people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities, through training in the reproduction and propagation of medicinal plants.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

Activities of the Horticultural Occupational Center

  • Support for the maintenance of the center's various spaces:
  • workshop-house / greenhouse / sensory garden and flowerbeds / vegetable garden
  • Facilitating workshops with different groups:
  • accompanying 2 groups during the workshops
  • Special workshops and events:
  • end of the year, certification ceremony, graduation, video production

Hortinclusiva Cooperative

Support for the general operation of the cooperative:

  • Product marketing
  • Sales campaigns
  • Monitoring of administrative records and processes
  • Activities with members
  • Production-related actions

PROFESSIONAL INCLUSION PROGRAM – LAW 21.015

Daily tasks:

  • Management of records of interviewees and candidates
  • Company tracking and contacts
  • Database management
