THE GUILD

From its base in Phnom Penh, La Guilde develops high-impact social projects in Cambodia, working closely with local stakeholders, communities, volunteers, and the project leaders it supports. This support mission is part of a broader effort to structure the NGO's activities in Southeast Asia: strengthening project coordination, fostering the volunteer network, and consolidating partnerships with local actors and businesses to mobilize resources, skills, and commitment for territorial development and social impact.

Description of missions :

Contribute to the coordination and support of the volunteer network

Alongside the Country Coordinator, you will participate in supporting volunteers throughout their journey by:

  • supporting the preparation of their expatriation (registration for training courses, collection of documents, agreements); ;
  • contributing to their reception, their follow-up and the organization of times for exchange and conviviality; ;
  • participating in site visits to meet volunteers and partner organizations; ;
  • taking part in the coordination of the network of host partners and in exchanges with the regional network of France Volontaires.

Participate in the development of projects with social impact

You will contribute to the monitoring and development of programs in:

  • identifying the needs of companies operating in Cambodia in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social engagement; ;
  • participating in discussions on suitable partnerships (patronage, sponsorship, employee engagement, impact investing, territorial projects); ;
  • contributing to the creation of presentation materials and tools for promoting projects.

Promoting the actions of The Guild

You will contribute to highlighting projects carried out in the field by:

  • collecting testimonies, data and impact indicators; ;
  • creating communication content (photos, videos, social media posts) to promote the initiatives and achievements of La Guilde in Cambodia.

Contributing to the development of local partnerships

Working with the Country Coordinator, you will be required to:

  • participate in meetings with local stakeholders (associations, communities, social entrepreneurs, institutions); ;
  • contribute to the identification of new project opportunities that meet the needs of the territory; ;
  • to support the monitoring and updating of La Guilde's contact and partner database.

This mission will allow you to discover how an international solidarity NGO operates, to develop your skills in project management, network animation, communication and partnership development, while experiencing commitment to projects with a strong social impact.

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and committed volunteer who wants to get involved in an international solidarity mission in Cambodia. An awareness of the challenges of volunteering, local development, cooperation, and social impact will be appreciated.

The volunteer will need to demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, resilience and good interpersonal skills, while fully adhering to the values of La Guilde: commitment, solidarity, openness and cooperation.

Fluency in French is essential. A working knowledge of English to communicate with local and international partners is expected. Knowledge of Khmer is an asset.
