Take action for research and education on climate change in Colombia

Goals

The General Interest Objective is to promote, evaluate and raise awareness of the fight against climate change among students through education and research activities in Colombia.

Actions

Analysis of extreme weather events (droughts, floods, hurricanes, storms, heat waves) in Colombia due to climate change
Conducting an evaluation of the effects of climate change education in Colombian educational settings
Implementation of workshops and events to raise awareness about climate change within the university (Earth Day, Water Workshop, etc.)
Implementation of actions to assess and reduce the University's carbon footprint
Support for launching new citizen projects involving university students on the promotion of Earth Sciences and the fight against climate change
