The goal is to foster social connections among children. To encourage creativity, strengthen self-confidence and solidarity, raise awareness of educational and social issues, and promote respect for living together.
We are looking for a volunteer who wants to get involved in the daily life of the orphanage and actively contribute to the well-being of the children. Their role will involve participating in various tasks related to the operation of the facility, including preparing meals, maintaining living spaces, and supporting daily activities.
Beyond these missions, the volunteer will play an essential role in the awakening, development and animation of life at the orphanage.
The volunteer will also participate in team meetings alongside the foundation's employees, in order to contribute to collective reflection and monitoring of actions carried out with children.
We wish to emphasize that all activities will be carried out under the constant supervision of an adult member of the Foundation. This adult will accompany, guide, and support the volunteer in their duties, ensuring a safe, caring, and child-friendly working environment.
In 2019, Josuha Guilavogui opened an orphanage in Conakry. This home welcomes orphaned children or those living in extreme poverty, providing them with a safe living environment, balanced meals, medical care, quality education, and the emotional support essential for their development. In 2021, the official creation of the Josuha Guilavogui Foundation ensured the sustainability of this initiative and mobilized partners and donors to guarantee its long-term development.
