Since 2022, La Guilde has been managing volunteer programs initiated by France Volontaire to develop the deployment of volunteers in various fields: forest conservation, Francophonie, and decentralized cooperation. As an accredited organization for sending volunteers on these programs, La Guilde provides invaluable support to host organizations: financial and administrative management, recruitment assistance, training, and volunteer follow-up.

Through the TEVO program, La Guilde has expanded access to international volunteering for local authorities since the program was launched by France Voluntaries in 2022. Supported by the Delegation for Local Authorities and Civil Society of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, TEVO provides turnkey support and financial assistance to strengthen decentralized cooperation partnerships and promote civic engagement, particularly among young people. Since its launch, La Guilde has supported nearly 20 volunteer missions with local authorities in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Lebanon, the Comoros, and France.
The TEVO program facilitates both the sending of volunteers to partner countries in the Global South and the hosting of young people from these regions in France, based on a principle of exchange and reciprocity. For example, within the framework of this program, a Senegalese volunteer is being hosted by the City of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin to carry out environmental awareness activities for residents and young people.
Since 2024, the United Volunteers for the Francophonie (or V-Francophonie) program has enabled La Guilde to deploy around fifteen international volunteering (VSI) positions to support initiatives within the Francophone world. Launched by France Volontaires at the 19th Francophonie Summit in the fall of 2024, it aims to strengthen youth engagement and increase the visibility of international volunteering opportunities within the Francophone community.
As part of this program, La Guilde has sent volunteers to Madagascar, Rwanda, Cambodia, Tunisia, Argentina, Egypt, Togo, and Senegal. In doing so, it fosters cooperation among Francophone stakeholders through reciprocal mobility. For example, a Cambodian volunteer is hosted at the Cité internationale de la langue française in Villers-Cotterêts, where she contributes to the development of the institution's international relations.
The V-Forêts de France Volontaires program, launched following the One Forest Youth Summit in 2023, mobilizes volunteers around a strong objective: supporting local projects for the preservation, restoration, and sustainable management of forests, particularly in the Congo Basin. The missions offered cover a wide range of field activities, from promoting forest resources and supporting local communities to raising awareness of environmental issues and combating deforestation.
Since 2025, La Guilde has been supporting 4 VSI (Volunteers for International Solidarity) within the framework of this program, notably in Gabon, Cameroon and Congo.
Since 2025, La Guilde has been conducting missions as part of the V-Amazonie program to support actors committed to protecting the Amazon rainforest.
Deployed in several countries of the Amazon basin, the program mobilizes 15 volunteers sent by La Guilde to Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, as part of North-South and South-South mobility initiatives. Their mission is to strengthen the capacities of local organizations committed to protecting biodiversity and forest ecosystems.
At La Guilde, these volunteer missions are part of a structured thematic framework. We also involve a La Guilde Campagnon and biodiversity conservation expert, who leads webinars for volunteers to encourage the sharing of experiences and the dissemination of best practices.
